1. Asthetics. We just like the look of them.
2. Packing. We really want to train the boys to be pack goats, and in general pack goats keep their horns. Blood flows through the horns and acts like a radiator so the goat doesn't over heat. Since you can't keep horned and hornless goats together, we left the horns on all of them.
We eventually discovered that there is a good reason that people take the horns off. Actually Karl discovered three good reasons: Bloody nose, bloody ear, and black eye. READER COMMENTS (0)
