July 15, 2007 | When Radishes Grow Out of Control

Apparently this is what happens when you leave radishes in the ground a little too long. On the upper left of the cutting board: our first carrots and peas.

The garden is starting to shape up, but the month of June didn't provide much for all our hard work. We've been joking that it's a good thing that we don't have to live off only what we're producing on the farm, or else our diet for the past couple months would consist mostly of rhubarb, radishes, and eggs. Anyone got a recipe for that?
